Hi, Looking for anyone that used to hang out at an old teen club located in Clearwater, Florida ( on Ulmerton Road and 49th Street) called Skyfeathers, opened around 1985-86 . Some of the regulars from the new wave/alternative room have already found each other, and want to see if we can find any more.. Hoping to find lost high school friends and aquaintances. Looking specifically for people who hung out in the new wave/alternative room , but if you are someone who hung out in one of the other rooms of the club at the time, maybe you can find some of your old buddies by posting here. Posted At 10:34:20 04/08/2005 hi there felicia. went to gibbs high school, my sister went to st. pete high. think we talked before. have many old friends from that place, that area. so i will post too in hopes of hearing from an old friend. may help the placement in the search engines too, using more txt. my older sister christine gingrich and then me and my friend holly were all there around then. and my sisters friend kara (cant remember last name) . then there was my kara, kara lipe. but not sure if she was going there at the same time. and then there is john john, who i dint see often, but he might have been around... |

You know for me (who dropped out of high school) this has the potential of turning into a sort of high school reunion. Anyone consider organizing a 20-year skyfeathers reunion? Posted At 11:53:25 09/20/2005 WOW! What a flashback. This rocks! I used to go there and every weekend. That sure was the place to be. I was good friends with John Huntly (RIP), Drew, Josette, MarKay, Kim Avery, MaryKay, Joe Nappi, Blaine, Sydney..whoa! so many names. Also I was good friends with Renee (went to school with her -PPHS) and for a short time also Jason. I don't know what happened to him after him and Renee split so I can't help you there, Felicia. Sorry. I'm glad that you all have posted this. I hope we can do some kind of a reunion. I'll keep an eye out! :-) |

And, of course, Manny (hi), creator of the infamous Not For Profit! This is really growing...COOL! Funny you should mention a reunion..Ross and I have discussed just that! Maybe a 21 year reunion...an odd year for an odd crew. Hope you have all checked out Ross' site at http://dittomusik.com/skyfeathers/skyfeathers.html. Maria and I have recently submitted photos and such. Hope you all can do the same. He has also added a bulletin board forum on there as well. Lucy, yes, I remember jaymie too...don't know whatever happened to her though. Maybe we'll find out soon. ;o) |

Hey Lucy, remember the days of you, Randy Phoenix and myself as the official gay mafia of PPHS? Aqua net and Boone's Farm, meant one helluva good night. Manny (sorry dude you will always be Manny to me) you're not the only one who dropped out, and yeah, this is about as close as I'm gonna get to a High School reunion as well. After all, didn't we all pretty much loathe everyone we went to High School with? (Unless they were already a member of the Waver scene that is) Still, just wow. Here's hoping that life has found (ALL of)you well throughout the years overall. |

It is good to see ol' Manny is still around - Hey Manny that was fun drawing a couple things for NFP - i hope all is well with you. i went to Skyfeathers a few times and met quite few people. i don't recognize many of the names on this thread since i am more of a visual thinker and i am really bad at names. however, the people i do remember meeting at or going to Skyfeathers with is Kim Dewitt, Kim Henderson, Richard White, Robin, Jadee, Alissa Hood, Natalie Krodel, sisters Jaz and Suzi, Lisa and so many other people that i can't remember from the dusty, crusty vault i call memories. wow - the photos on http://dittomusik.com/skyfeathers/phpBB2/index.php are a flashback machine and several of the people look familar... hopefully everyone will find who they are looking for.
